Taronga is offered for Auction for the first time since her launch in 1991. Taronga has only had one owner since new and has been kept in perfect condition with extensive modifications made to the 29.7m vessel in 2014 under the supervision of CIM engineers.

Taronga received an interior refit in 2017 as well as in 2018, which included a full hull and superstructure repaint.

Taronga’s notable Sparkman and Stephens design delivers both comfortable sailing and great performance. There were 11 yachts built to this design, known as ‘Maxi 88s’, with Taronga being hull number six.

Taronga’s interior is well suited to relaxed family cruising and her accommodation is comprised of a full-beam master suite with walk-in wardrobe, and two guest doubles (also both en suite).  

The saloon features a large bar, a large dining table and comfortable seating area but it is on deck that Taronga really comes into her own, with an expansive covered cockpit – providing a great recreational area as well as shelter when required.  

Behind the centrally positioned helm station, Taronga has a bank of seating that faces forward and backing onto that, another U-shaped sweep of cushioned sofas face aft towards the stern.

Furthest aft, there’s a hydraulic platform that provides direct and safe access to the water, as well as making tender disembarkation that little bit easier.
