The Austral Clubman 8 is the best of all worlds being a comfortable cruiser for you and your family or a gun race boat. Kameruka has been very well looked after, professionally polished and always maintained with no expense spared.
She has been raced in the Whitsundays and has won many regattas including Hamilton Island Race Week, Airlie Beach Race Week, Hamilton Island Cup x 2 and Whitsunday Sailing Club Twilight winner for two years. We have taken out the stove, porta toilet, fold down teak table and cushions from the rear double bed and the front V berth for racing purposes.
The near new aluminum launch trailer is included as is a road trailer stored at home(not registered and needs work). Her sail wardrobe is extensive and includes racing main, dacron main and an older carbon main. Headsails include number 1(2 of), 2, 2.5, 3, 4 and 5. There are 3 spinnakers(white one in photos not included). The motor was upgraded in 2015 to a 20Hp Suzuki four stroke. New keel winch, all new rope clutches, many new ropes and re-wired electrical system in 2019. She is always stored with a protective canvas cover.
